The right of journalists not to disclose their sources of information in the context of legal responsibility of the media

It is generally recognized that the press should have the right to protect their sources. In Poland his protection is exceptionally strong, because only in certain circumstances journalist could be forced to reveal information which might lead to identification their sources. However such regulation raises controversial issues about the liability of the member of this profession for defamation and other crimes. The article concerns this matter.
