Fatherland, nation and society - usage of these termes in exposes of Polish prime ministers between 1919-2001

The article was written on the basis of exposes of Polish Prime Ministers in the period of 1919-2001. The analyzed words are: a country, a nation and a society. All of these words appear in each historical period and almost in each speech, but the difference in the frequency of their occurrence is distinctive. Objective statistical indicators make it possible to define the preferences in choosing the words being discussed by considering particular authors of the texts as well as certain historical periods, and comparing them with analogical indicators in the texts of other authors and in other historical periods.
