Oni (Them) by Teresa Torańska – between an interview and interrogation

Pełny tekst artykułuThis article aims at answering the question whether interviews by Teresa Torańska conduct in the book Oni (Them) feature language properties of an interrogation. The study provides the analysis of the journalist’s questions, and discusses the conclusions with a reference to four aspects: factual – related to certain events discussed in the interviews, psychological – connected with the journalist’s use of certain techniques of persuasion, evaluative – which refer to ethical issues, as well as social and cultural characteristics which redefines the cultural paradigm.
