Between government and citizens – media in the debate on the reform of education

The article presents concepts on the relations between the process of political communication and entertainment media, which plays a crucial role in creating popular culture. Definitions of political communication, perceiving the role of mass media in a traditional way, are discussed as well as the necessity to include entertainment media in the analysis of the process. These media have become an important channel of political debate and their role in shaping political cognitive frames will be significantly increasing.
