Polish Press Agency and the idea of a new information order between 1960-1972

The paper deals with the stance of the Polish Press Agency and other press agencies in socialist countries of the "Eastern Bloc" on the idea of a new information and communication order. In the sixties of the 20th century the Polish Press Agency, following the example of press agencies in the USSR, Czechoslovakia and GDR, took up to a limited scope activities in Africa, Latin America and Asia. The activities related to information exchange agreements, broadcasting radio news bulletins and participation in the training of African journalists in Prague. Despite financial problems, the Polish Press Agency also supplied developing countries with a small amount of technical equipment
