Polish cyberactivism: human rights protection and anti-war themes in the Internet

The article analyses the phenomenon of cyberactivism as politically motivated movements using Internet technologies. Author focuses on Polish cyberactivism and studies three Polish websites as spaces by which Polish cyberactivists take (or organize) their actions. The author analyses online activities of organizations and initiatives working within the human rights and anti-war movement: the website of large and well-organized Amnesty International Poland; the website of local semi-formal Anti-War Coalition from Poznań as well as large extensive website mainly about Iraqui conflict (Irak.pl).
