The "Dziennik Łódzki" daily after the systemic transformation of 1989

The article presents the Polish press transformation, which took place in 1989, after the collapse of the communist system. The author describes changes and evolution of the Lodz press that accompanied this event. She concentrates mainly on the "Dziennik Łódzki" daily, which is the oldest and most widely read and valued newspaper in the region.
