Web information potential – based on the 2010 presidential elections

Internet/Web information potential is a very rich source of valuable information. It regards traditional resources (Web 1.0) as well as community web (Web 2.0). However, there remains the issue of obtaining this information and its presentation in legible form. This was the subject of research carried out in order to determine the possibilities of obtaining from the Web information on the course of the 2010 presidential elections in Poland. The information can serve to reliably assess the phenomenon and to forecast its future course. Moreover, the research outlines the methodology of research on voter preferences based on information from the web.
