Concepts of media pluralism and media policy in the digital era

This article is devoted to various concepts of media pluralism and media policy. In particular it looks at changes in media environment in the context of digital media and the development of digital platforms, such as Facebook. The growing activity of media users and content which is generated by them content pose new challenges for media pluralism regulation. The study refers to the concept of the “worlds” by Tamotsu Shibutani.
