Erotic and Pornographic Press in Poland

The text is a presentation Polish erotic and pornographic press in existence in Poland since 1989. Research of this subject is part of the description of the changes in the media market and readership which took place in Poland after the fall of communism and an exploration of the essence of pornography. Not only in Poland is pornography a controversial issue. That is why this segment of media market is not still fully described. However, the presence of erotic and pornographic magazines, their position on the market and discussions on legality encourages taking an interest in this question. The author shows the legal status, functioning of the market and its participants (publishing houses).
