The European Union seen with the eyes of Radio Maryja (linguistic analysis)
Danuta Kępa-Figura
In Radio Maryja the European Union is regarded as bad in itself and bad for the future of Poland. It is being presented in black colours, it stands for realization of the idea of euro-communism or euro-socialism. The beliefs relating to the conditions of Poland's entering into the structures of the Union constitute one of the bases of anti-Union propaganda in Radio Maryja. These conditions are regarded as very unfavorable. Such opinion is expressed on various levels of openness and often omitting the stage of reasoning.
