Why am I Better - Self-Presentations During a Presidential Campaign

Imposing on voters your own point of view and arousing trust are the main goals of presidential candidates. Analysis of politicians' speeches and press statements allows reconstructing their tactics of defining the situation, building their credibility and attractiveness. The methods of persuasion used (progressive or conservative rhetoric, strategy of an enlightened citizen or a spokesman, etc.) also give evidence of the choice of a communication model made by a politician.
