Polish Radio's Influence on Regional Stations' Branches and Their Programme Offer Within the First Decade of Communist Poland

This article discusses the relations between Polish Radio central and regional stations. Most of the time the Warsaw based central station influenced politically and dictated the programme offer to regional stations. During the 'Thaw' more partner relations existed organizationally and programme wise which allowed regional stations to develop their own specificity and come up with interesting initiatives for the national programme.
