Local radio and television in the Netherlands grew It is beyond any man's physical and intellectual capabilities to be able to consciously and directly make use of all the world's information sources. Therefore, it becomes necessary to utilize intermediaries which help us filter through and select the type of information we are interested in. Resulting is a limitation of information freedom which is further deepened by the multimedia form of receiving the information which requires from the receiver less imagination and creativity. Another limitation is personalization or delivery of materials which best fit the user profile based on his age, sex, or interests. The wireless connection is a catalyst of the above mentioned limitations in the shape of the modern mobile phone which is a multi-function device. In consequence and paradoxically, those in possession of modern technologies are subject to less and less information freedom in our modern world.
