Concentration, specialization, diversification of products and services – activities of media groups with foreign capitals in the market of Polish magazines

From twenty five years the media groups with foreign capitals have run successfully on the Polish media market. They have become its inseparable component. During their activities on the Polish market some fusions and takeovers went ahead which resulted in vertical and horizontal types of concentration. This article attempts to answer the following question: what sort of operations were undertaken by Bauer Media Poland, Burda Media Poland, Edipresse Poland, Marquard Media Poland, Ringier Axel Springer and G + J Poland in the period of media convergence, globalization and deepening segmentation?
