Models of governance and control of public service and state electronic media in selected countries in Africa, South America, Asia and Europe

It presents the main characteristics, evolution and models of management and control of public service and state media systems in different countries – China, Japan, Marocco, Republic of South Africa, Chile and Austria. The goal is to find similarities between the public service/ state media and political systems. The classification of public service media systems described in the article is based on conceptual framework defined by D.C. Hallin and P. Mancini.
