„Legitimate interest” in press as a circumstance excluding illegality of personal rights’ violation

The journalists have an obligation to protect personal right of third parties. The legitimate importance is non-statuory circumstances excluding illegality of personal rights violation by the press. The journalists rely on it very often in their publications, unfortunately understanding it as a social interest in the matter. There is a clear need of define the meaning this vague legal concept, upon the existing case law of the Polish Supreme Court and representatives of legal doctrine.
