Quality of Media Broadcast from the Psychosynthesis Point of View
Ewa Białek, Barbara Krygier
The science of journalism is based on many fields; among the most important are psychology and pedagogy. The article is an original presentation of journalists and their activity from the psychosynthesis point of view, a new psychology approach in Poland, in light of its principles, psychodynamic laws and its didactic aspect. It reflects on the quality of journalist education and the quality of broadcast which, according to Hippocrates' rule should, "First of all - not to do any harm" and also, according to R. Assagioli's principle, "If done in time -- it is education; if too late - it is therapy". The most important threats from the media are identified, especially their influence on people's psychoneurological development. The ethical aspects of journalist activity are also discussed and including a need for new approach to work and quality based on psychosynthesis.
